After having a full and I thought reliable 35 long glass tank pop a brace and spill almost all of that water on the floor and be completely unfixable because the brace is not replaceable, I think big tanks that are one piece (acrylic) have its advantages. The bad thing about acrylic is if you have hard water, that may cloud your tanks.....anyway I have seen that as problematic.
